Grants
The Fishers Neighborhood Matching Grant Program awards funds to older established neighborhoods within the city limits as an incentive to plan and complete beautification and enhancement projects.
Proposed projects can be oriented toward the beautification of a subdivision entrance, including construction of flower beds, planting trees, retention pond rehabilitation, graffiti cleanup, adding / modifying entrance signs, constructing/repairing fencing or sidewalks, or other such related improvements. Reoccurring or non-permanent items such as mulch or annuals are not eligible, as well as any other maintenance items.
Projects can also be enhancement-oriented to assist in accomplishing community goals such as the establishment of a neighborhood crime watch area.
