How do I pay for registration?
WEF accepts credit card payments only for online registration. The cards we accept are VISA, MasterCard, American Express and payment is due at the time of registration.
When will I receive my ALA registration confirmation?
Web registrants will receive an immediate e-mail registration confirmation which will contain an official registration ID number along with confirmed payment information. If you do not receive a confirmation please call customer service at (708) 486-0724, toll free (877) 303-0724.
When will I receive my badge?
Badges are not mailed. Bring your confirmation to one of our express check in counters and scan the barcode right from your smartphone. If you don't have a smartphone, simply print your confirmation and bring it with you. We'll have your badge printed in seconds, and you'll be on your way!
What are the cancellation, substitution and refund policies?
There are two options if you are unable to attend the conference.
SUBSTITUTION - If there is someone else within your organization who could attend the meeting in your place, you can transfer your registration to another person with no penalty. Simply fax or mail a copy of your confirmation letter with a cover letter stating your request along with a completed registration form from the person replacing you by August 29. Substitutions needed after August 29 can be accommodated on site at the actual meeting.
CANCELLATION - Cancellations will only be honored when received in writing. No telephone cancellations will be processed. You may receive a full refund for your conference registration (less a 25% processing fee) for written cancellations received by WEF on or before August 29, 2015. Cancellations received after August 29 will be processed, however no refund will be issued.

My registration failed, what happened?
Most of the failed registrations are caused by problems with a credit card. Please try the same credit card again and if it fails again please try an alternative card. If that continues to fail please send us an e-mail at
registration@wef.org.
How do I request a letter of invitation to apply for my visa?
International Invitation Letter PolicyIf you would like to request an invitation letter from the Water Environment Federation for your visa application, you must first register for the ALA 2016 conference. During the registration process, you can request your invitation letter and then be able to print it out the end of your session. If you have any questions:
