The Indiana Health Care Foundation (IHCF) is pleased to announce its 11th annual Golf Outing scheduled for Monday, June 14 at the Country Club of Indianapolis.
Please join us at this year's Golf Outing to further support long-term care scholarships and workforce development, and network with fellow long-term care professionals and decision-makers.
Did you know the IHCF awarded more than $21,000 in scholarships benefiting long-term care professionals in 2020? We are looking forward to raising more dollars in 2021 to continue supporting the scholarship program.

Friday, May 7-21: Building an Infection Prevention Savvy Workforce
The virtual training sessions are designed to serve as an introduction to infection control with long term care specific content and examples. This training is designed to meet the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ regulations for Infection Prevention Specialists working in long term care nursing facilities. The course will involve a pre-and post-test to reflect knowledge improvement. Additionally, there will be a “final exam” given after the third virtual session.
- CEUs are available for administrators and social workers.

Wednesday, May 19: SDi Preceptor Course
If you are looking to increase your “job satisfaction” and/or “job contribution value,” the preceptor course could be the way to obtain that opportunity. The preceptor course fulfills one of the eligibility requirements to be approved as a preceptor to an administrator-in-training. This state-approved eight-hour program will provide the informational foundation to be a skilled preceptor.
