Entering the season finale race weekend having provisionally clinched the 2019 Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires Championship, Oliver Askew only needs 23 points in order to officially take home the championship honors. Should the rookie finish in the top two positions in tomorrow's Race 1 or take the green flag for both races this weekend, he will be crowned the new Indy Lights Champion.

"I think we are gonna start both races and win the championship, so I think it's pretty much over as long as the engine starts. It was a difficult session for us for sure. I was surprised on how much the track changed, so we will definitely debrief and look at the data and hope for a better run in the morning. It looks like will be starting third now so that’s not too bad here." |

"Qualifying was so-so. We’re starting P4, which isn’t bad, but there was a lot more in the car. I think we made a lot of bad choices with the set up and I think we got to the peak of the tire. Then Dalton [Kellett] spun and ruined everyone else’s qualifying session. So we will show up tomorrow and be better in the morning." |

"Qualifying for Race 1 didn’t go as planned. We were loose in first practice session this morning. Then we were on the flying lap in Qualifying when we had a red flag come out, so we are just going to have to move forward to tomorrow." |
